Gloucester have moved in to sign Tom Savage from Hartpury, which is one of the great signing so far. The 21-year-old lock trained at Kingsholm this term and played in the A League for the United XV.
“He’s got a good attitude and a bright future ahead of him if he keeps on this upward curve,” academy manager Mark Cornwell told BBC Gloucestershire.
“He’s only been playing rugby for four or five years and he’s developed into a very physical specimen.”
Cornwell continued: “Now the world is his oyster and he can go on leaps and bounds and become a first team regular.”
